Centre for Indian Literature

The Centre for Indian Literature (CIL) is an educational and research-oriented institution dedicated to promoting access to quality literature at the grassroots level of society. Our vision is to cultivate a reading culture and make diverse knowledge resources easily accessible to learners, readers, and aspirants from all backgrounds.

At CIL, we offer a wide spectrum of literature curated from reputed and eminent institutions such as the National Book Trust (NBT), Publications Division, and Sahitya Akademi, along with a rich collection of best-selling books available in the open market. Our collection spans across academic, literary, and general reading materials to cater to varied interests and age groups.

Readers’ Club Initiative

To further our mission of inclusive learning, we have launched a special initiative — the Readers’ Club.

This initiative is designed to provide affordable and convenient access to books and research material through flexible membership plans (monthly and six-month options). The Readers’ Club aims to encourage regular reading habits and support individuals in their intellectual and academic pursuits without financial barriers.

IAS Mentorship Programme

In addition to our literary services, CIL also offers a dedicated IAS Mentorship Programme for civil services aspirants.

This programme focuses on quality-driven preparation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the syllabus across all three stages of the examination — Prelims, Mains, and Interview. With a structured approach, personalized guidance, and emphasis on conceptual clarity, the programme is designed to help aspirants navigate the complexities of the examination with confidence.
